Michelle McGaughey is an artist from New England. She has shown her work at galleries and festivals across the region, and is an aspiring children's picture book writer and illustrator. She has a passion for visual story telling, maps, history, character design and books.
A graduate of Montserrat College of Art, she has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation and Interactive Media with a minor in creative writing. She is also a member of the Society of Children Book's Writers and Illustrators, and was an Honorable Mention at the 2019 New England SCBWI Portfolio Showcase and is a recipient of the Liz Goulet Dubois Scholarship in 2023.
